As a member of the hospice community, we know how much is at stake this year. For the first time it the 25-year history of the hospice Medicare benefit, there is a proposal to drastically cut hospice reimbursement rates. Resources to provide quality, compassionate end-of-life care are already stretched thin. And, we have to fight to save hospice care as we know it.
But do you know what you can do about it?
Today, right now, you can invest just three minutes of your time to tell Rep. Artur Davis how they can stop the rate cuts to hospice. It's that simple.
We're asking Congress to enact a delay in the implementation of the rate cuts and there is a letter being circulated in the U.S. House of Representatives that your Member of Congress can sign to show their support.
